Feb 03, 2014 realMyst: Masterpiece Edition is a beautifully updated version of realMYST for today’s Mac computers - celebrating the 20th anniversary of Myst! The models and textures have been reconstructed to provide an amazing graphical experience. Then it's a great extension of your Myst adventure. However the age of the game without updates is very difficult to install and run. I had no problems on my desktop PC running WinXP but the copy that I gifted for Christmas couldn't be installed on any of the Mac's even with the use of a virtual PC installed. Jun 05, 2011 Myst for Mac will both haunt and tantalize you. (How many other things do that?) The game's 3-D photo-realistic graphics, compelling story line, and mind-bending puzzles combine to offer a game that lets players go anywhere, at any time. Better yet, players never die. One of the best puzzle games ever! Took me nearly two years to figure it all out! Ran on Win 98 as long as Apple Quicktime was installed.

I got the PC version (Myst: Masterpiece) about 15 years ago. Spent about 20 hours playing it. Never finished.

Myst was one of the hardest, but most enjoyable games I've ever played. The entire series is great thought. (The second game is Riven, if you want to play it.)
