Maybe I misunderstood the purpose of this trick, but what I’m trying to do is use this steam client to download the game files from Steam to my hard drive. I loaded up steam, clicked download, waited for it to finish, etc. Now I am trying to get the actual files, and they aren’t anywhere on my mac. The 2 file systems are not compatible. Mac is HFS I believe. WIndows is NTFS or FAT32. WIndows cannot read Mac files and visa versa. Do never write something you have no idea about. Mac OS by default provides Read/Write over FAT and Read over NTFS. Windows comes with NTFS as default and read/write over FAT.
